Kindred is a small, community based, parent-led, diverse group that believes in the beauty of homeschooling in the way that is best for each family. We are a group that strives to build fellowship, support and encouragement to one another as we journey together on the road of homeschooling. We provide opportunities to socialize, build friendships, seek help, group classes, service projects and more that are best done together in groups.

This is a co-op (cooperative). This means we are all hands on deck. Parents must stay in the building the entire time and help by teaching a class, assisting, helping clean/set-up, or other duties as needed. Parents may volunteer to teach/assist a class or the will be assigned a spot based on need. Parents do not have to teach their first semester. We offer multiple class options each semester for school aged children (based on interest, number of kids, and parents to teach), plus time to socialize and make friends. We keep costs low by everyone contributing to supplies for the classes their child/ren are in. Some (rarely) classes may have a small supply fee instead and will be noted before class sign-ups. We do the majority of our communication and planning through a private Facebook group. Once accepted, you will be added to the grouop and will need to be active there to participate.
